- High performance 100W, 8 Ohm compression driver with 2" Dia voice coil, 40 oz. magnet.
- Custom LED lighting system that changes intensity with the music and breathes during idle time.
- Includes custom machined aluminum Anti-Vortex Tube Adapter for smooth transition between driver and voice tube.
- High-fidelity 24W rms (30W Max) power amplifier.
- Less than 0.5% distortion from 20Hz - 20kHz.
- 150 Hz Electronic Crossover (12 dB/octave roll-off). Protects driver while extending bass performance.
- Tilt Tone Control to boost bass and cut treble, or boost treble and cut bass. Center detent is flat.
- Special adjustable "Edger" circuit adds extra "grit" to your favorite patches.
- Preamp with gain trimpot adjusts input sensitivity to work with all keyboards.

I owned a “Rocktron Banshee” for 20 years and as a Synth player the Talk Stars razor tone and low hiss with high gain is incomparable. For sessions alone I save hours of editing out the harsh tones that the Banshee outputs. For shows, the talk star is a weapon. Hi, if you are looking for a talk box that offers maximum sound with a decent amount of pressure, then the Star Talk Box is the best choice. I used to have a TalkStar one of the best sounding talkboxes I ever used. I used it on the Original MicroKorg Synthesizer. Sounded nice the patch I got from a buddy of mine named Martin Ross. With this Talkbox if you patch your synth sound right you’ll come close to sounding like Roger Troutman from the group Zapp.

I just recently had a chance to practice with my Talkstar Talkbox using my Korg MickroKorg. I’ve had this talkbox for a few months now but because of my schedule, never got around to using it. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I don’t even have the words to describe how happy I am with this talkbox. There is absolutely no falloff on any end of the scale. Now I plan on practicing with my Yamaha DX100 and my Novation MiniNova. If you don’t have a Talkstar Talkbox, you’re missing out on an awesome experience!
